KILMARNOCK: KAY PARK PARISH CHURCH OF SCOTLAND
(Union of Henderson and Old High Parish Churches 1st Nov 2012)
London Road, Kilmarnock
TIMES OF SERVICES
9.45 a.m. Informal Service in the Side Chapel Area
11.00 a.m. Morning Worship (Traditional with surprises!)
A short walk from Kilmarnock town centre - opposite the Grand Hall and the Palace theatre - is the imposing red sandstone building of Kay Park Parish Church, the base for its lively and active congregation of just over 600 members, around 200 of whom are regular attenders. The excellent suite of halls, kitchen and Media Suite are regularly used by community groups.
We think and hope that newcomers tend to feel quickly part of the family. The Kay Park family is committed to the ‘Church Without Walls’ vision of using the gifts of the members. The results are the many activities, large and small, that are always going on.
(that of the Church of Scotland)
The vision of the Church of Scotland is to be a church which seeks to inspire the people of Scotland and beyond with the Good News of Jesus Christ through enthusiastic, worshipping, witnessing, nurturing and serving communities.
