PARISH PROFILE
Although records of Christian Settlement in Riccarton go back to 1229, Riccarton Church is forward looking in it's attitude.
This is evident from the new hall and ramp now being built. This hall will be used by many of the church organisations and perhaps by the wider community in general. The ramp will provide access for the disabled, much needed for those who could not use stairs.
Riccarton is a friendly welcoming church, and anyone coming for the first time is always made to feel most at home. The present role in the church is just under 300, and the average at a Sunday morning service
is around 90.
